WE WANT TO CONGRATULATE THE 2013 CAR SHOW WINNERS!! THANK YOU TO ALL THAT PARTICIPATED THIS YEAR!! WE HAD OVER 286 CARS IN THE SHOW - A RECORD NUMBER!! AS WE CONTINUE TO GROW WE WILL BE ADDING MORE CLASSES. WE HAVE NATIONAL JUDGES THAT WE ARE WORKING WITH TO CONTINUE THE SUCCESSFUL GROWTH OF THE RALLY.
FACTS: This past year, in 2012, 61 Texas counties had child abuse/neglect-related fatalities. A staggering 212 children passed due to abuse/neglect and 1 in Lubbock County. One is too many.
Saturday April 27, 2013 in Lubbock's historic Depot Entertainment District, Family Guidance and Outreach Center will host
their 15th ANNUAL BLUE RIBBON RALLY BIKE & CAR SHOW. This Fun filled day begins at 10am with Live Music, Tons of Food and Merchandise Vendors, The Largest Car and Bike Show, A New Children’s Area and Children’s Bicycle Show. This event is FREE and everyone is welcome to attend. Area Depot Businesses will be Open, Offering Amazing Specials, and some will even have Entertainment. The day will conclude around 6pm with a drawing for a 2013 Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two Motorcycle.
Each April, Family Guidance & Outreach Center of Lubbock observes Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month. Bikers, Car Enthusiasts, Several Area Businesses and Volunteers will come together to help to raise funds for Family Guidance and Outreach Center. FGOC leads the way in offering help and guidance by providing FREE parenting, anger management classes, and school programs in Lubbock & surrounding areas to anyone who needs the help.
